Excited, ecstatic, can't think of another e word

Starting now this blog is going to have more baby things on it. Still the regular stuff but just with baby things thrown in. Why you ask...well let me tell you. We are adopting a baby...in 22 days (or less)!!!! We have been going to classes for foster to adoption and the got a call about an infant adoption a few weeks ago. Yesterday we meet the birth mom and she liked us! I am completely unable to focus for long periods of time right now. So in honor of our new little-one-to-be here are some amazing baby things from Quilt Baby
I think these blankets are so pretty and look so soft. I especially like the one with birds. (what is it with me and birds?!)

If I had to wear onesies I would want cute ones like this.

Seriously, I need a sewing machine so I can attempt to make some of these beautiful bibs. Oh and I have a new found love of the color orange.

EMILY!!! Oh my gosh!! YAH! I keep thinking that there isn't anything more you can do to be a more amazing person and then you prove me wrong! What a lucky baby and mama to have found you and James! So happy for you! Can't wait to hear more!

So very happy for you and your little one. May you and James find God's grace and wisdom to parent this new dear baby. I'm sure you are very very excited.

I thought of you when I saw this give-a-way at womansday.com.

It's for a pair of boots (wellies) and I know you like them. I'm not sure if the style pictured would be your style, but maybe you would get to pick?? Anyway, I thought you might have fun entering the contest if you have the time.

One of these Sundays, I'll actually get over to talk to you instead of just waving.

Emily, I have been praying for you and James for quite a while since I heard you were doing foster-to-adopt. My eyes filled with tears as I read your entry. I too am doing foster-to-adopt. I am hoping to get two little girls. I know what I feel like going through this process... it is an emotional roller coaster. I pray that these next few days will go so fast for you. I am so excited for you both... Here is another E word... Elated...

Keep us posted. Vicki Gold
