NYC 1

Last weekend I got the chance to visit my friend EW in New York City. It was even more fun that I imagined. I will take the next few posts to share some of my photos with you. We got to visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Saturday. It was so amazing. Here are a few photos of my favorite parts.

Of course I loved the chandeliers in the America Section.
This is the front of a bank that stood in New York and now is inside the museum.
EW with some amazing statues. She's my favorite part of the museum.
Completely amazing stained glass window.
This is what you see when you enter the museum. How could you ask for more?

More VIntage Shoes

Found a few more pairs of vintage shoes that I would buy, if only they were my size. I am jealous of anyone who can purchase them. From Brown Bag Vintage
Size 7 Blue Flats (on sale)
Size 7.5 Crocodile Flats.
Size 10, Blue Denim Shoes.
Size 7 Red Heels. I would do just about anything to squeeze into these beauties. Sadly, they are a whole size to small. NOOOOOOOOOO!

If anyone buys those red shoes please let me know so I can be a little jealous but also really glad that someone I know is wearing such fab shoes.

Growing, Growing, Growing

I have always liked the idea of growth charts and planned to do one for my children. I know a lot of people end up finding a wall to do them on, but then what happens when you move?! I like these options by Bold and Noble instead.

Gray

Check out this beautiful pillow from Miss Mosh.

Yummy

For Summer

Time to think of what bag you are going to carry this summer. I think the a wild pattern would be beautiful. Charm Design has some great options that make me think of walking through a little beach town somewhere.

I would like one of each please.

Untamed Menagerie

I absolutely love the pieces by Untamed Menagerie. Obviously, others do as well because each time I choose a favorite and try decide if I want to purchase it by the time I return to it, it's sold. (was that the worst sentence ever?)
This is by far my favorite piece. I think I have gone to purchase it at least 3 times and it has been sold out. They have it right now but of course I don't have the money budgeted. It will be there again. It's cut from steel isn't that amazing?
Acrylic, black, beautiful.
So perfectly pretty. You could wear this all the time.
Amazing, mirrored earings. I want to wear them with each and every dress I own.

My Favorites

This week is a busy week for me. I have the week off from work and am trying to squeeze projects and travel in so I am going to share my favorite etsy finds of late and be brief.

Today Quilts. I am not normally a quilt person. I like the crazy one's not the well thought out ones. I can appreciate the time and energy that goes into a quilt but don't feel the need to own one. Then I stumbled across Quiltville. Maybe it's the fabric or the lack of obvious pattern that draws me. Regardless, I love these quilts.
