Stretching

So you have some heels that you love and you want to wear them this winter but you don't want your feet to be cold. Consider spats. They stretch your shoe wardrobe quite a bit and they make heels look almost like boots. Also an easy way to simulate the look of boots over your jeans.

Denim Spats from Fabulize.

Custom Leather Spats from Unraveled. You pick your buttons and they have other textures and colors.

Rugs

When the weather gets cooler I want to put rugs on all my hardwood floors. My feet get cold easily and I want to try to warm them up. I found some great options from Dash and Albert Rug Company . If you're moving soon (CMM) this would be a great site to look for rugs for your new house!

Chilly

Yes, Please Old Navy! Your coats are so super cute this season. Is it wrong to have 5 winter coats?

Camel swing coat with adorable sleeves.
White is a dangerous color for me because I tend to spill things. But I love this.

Plaid, cute for everyday.

I can never say no to hot pink.

Yummy.

Not sure I can just pick one. I want all of them and am going to go try them on later today!

Fashion week

I am no queen of fashion (I do dream of being one though). But I do enjoy looking at the latest and wishing someone would make a knock off that I could afford. I am LOVING L'Wren Scotts Spring line and keeping my fingers crossed that I can find something like these amazing dresses that I could actually afford.

Oh oh oh it's Magic....

I really like hats. I like that they are coming back into style. Now I just need to find the perfect one.

Perfect.

Love the flowers at the shoulder

I think this is my favorite look. So feminine and simple.

Bring it on

I am ready for fall weather. I love the cool evenings and the fact that I can wear jeans all the time. I think I need to add some yummy cardigans to my wardrobe and I will be all set.

J. Crew never dissappoints. I just want them to make this in every color of the rainbow and I will buy them all!

Urban had this cute baby doll cardi that also comes in red.

When I think of Victoria Secrets I sometimes forget that they have some great clothes. Like this great wrap.

Love how feminine and soft this one from iLE AiYe is.

Retro Wallpaper

Still obesessed with the look of wallpaper. I found some great "retro" inspired options on Twenty2 and wanted to share them with you. This site also has some great fabrics and grasscloth wallpaper. That way you can buy your wallpaper and a complimentary fabric for your curtians instead of running all over town trying to find curtians that match.

This one almost looks like the lattice is real. I like this for a smaller area or an accent wall.
Love this for a modern kitchen or bath.

So subtle and pretty.

More Ruffles

I still am loving the look of ruffles. I'm so glad they are in this fall also! Here are some cute options from Lirola.

Love the light bluish/green of this shirt.
I have a slight purple addiction right now. I have never been a girl who liked purple but it's getting me right now.

Look at the sleeves on this one. Perfect!

The detail on this one is my favorite.

Please ruffles...never go out of style!

Away

I got to go to the Big Apple Sunday, Monday and came back today. It was a blast. Saw an old high school friend and we went and saw my most favorite band. Let me say they did not disappoint. Kings of Leon puts on a killer show!

Don't worry Mom (and Marmie) the car was not moving when I took this shot of 42nd street! By the way driving in Manhattan is my new favorite sport. It is such a rush.
My friend took me to Little Italy for St. San Genaro's. It was fun and so crowded. We ate at a great little restaurant on the street. Best food.

Had to take a picture of the Broadway sign. On the way into Manhattan it was raining confetti all along Broadway and 42nd. I didn't figure out why but I assume it was because they were happy I was visiting.

At the concert! They played every song I was hoping to hear. Did an amazing encore and just were the best. I would go see them again any time, any where!

Headbands

Every time I see a head band with flowers or feathers on it I mockingly try it on. Then I glance in the mirror and end up liking the look. I think I'm going to have to break down and get one. Just a few of my favorites right now.

From Forever 21 this lovely is only 3.80

From Kaang this feathery goodness!

Pretty gray flowers from Sweet Ivy Girl

Anthropologie, of course, has many options I like. Look at this sweet bow

Sweater

Yes please, Anthro. How did you know I wanted a ruffley sweater for fall this year? I would wear this ALL the time. Love it.

I am going to a concert monday night and I totally want to wear one of these amazing tank tops to wear. Aren't they so pretty. CLF by Clare La Faye

I like that they are a little bit (a lot bit) girlie and also a little rock and roll (notice the chains)

This dress is not concert ready but would be so pretty for a nice night out.

Black and white. So good.

Another metal and lace get-up. Love it.

Stick it to me

I know I've shared cool tapes before but these were too good not to share. From Happy Tape this great Japanese washi paper tape.

This 20 pack of solid colored tape is only $36.50. I think that's a pretty great deal.
Cherry Blossom 5 pack for $24

Black and White 5 pack for $22
Sparkly pink and blue tape for $11

There are so many different color options and patterns and you can buy individual rolls. I love the idea of colored tape.
