Antique

I love going to antique stores. Wondering through aisle after aisle of the past. Each thing was once brand new to someone else. I wonder about the story behind things. But sometimes I need a specific thing (like a doorknob or hinges to match my other doors) and I don't feel like wondering for hours. Historic House Parts is the perfect site for those days.

I want to replace my current front door with this lovely.

My mom would love this wrought iron for her garden.

I have a few antique grates in my house. One by my front door is pretty plain. I would like this one to replace it. Isn't it beautiful.

MMMM....leaded glass. So pretty.

This is the perfect light for my foyer, or our new bathroom or just about anywhere. I love it so much.

Egg Art

I wish I had the patient and steady hand of artist Frances Grom. He drills thousands of tiny holes in eggs to create unique Easter Eggs. Aren't they beautiful. I would be afraid to even hold one because I would probably crush it.

Busy Bee

I am going to be super busy this week preparing for my second craft show with my friend CDB. I am so excited but I still have a ton to do. I will give a sneak peak of what I will be selling later in the week and all the info for you if you want to come.

Totally switching subjects...

Growing up I had the smallest room known to man. And I am not just being silly. The people who moved in after our family turned it into a walk in closet. My grandfather built me an elevated bed which pretty much doubled the floor space. If I hadn't had that I would have wanted a loft bed from Tumidei. These would also have been amazing in my tiny little dorm room.

This is probably the one that would have fit in the space the easiest. It would have been wall to wall loft though. I really think this is amazing.

Make a shared bedroom 2 times bigger.

Perfect for a single child who likes to have sleep overs.

Is that the Sun?

It is finally sunny after days of rain (it's bring the May flowers I hear). The warmer it is the more I am thinking of cute dresses and skirts. To complement them I will need some cute summer purses. Check out Jennifer Ladd's collection and you will find a bag for sure.
Is that a felt flower I see? I LOVE felt.

This is just too cute.

Vespa's on a purse? What could be better?

This is my favorite by far. I adore the color combo and it would go with so much fo my summer clothes.

The perfect gift for my brother's girlfriend. Don't look at this V cause I might have to get it for you.

For the Man in your life

I like to see hubby dressed up. Doesn't happen often but it's always nice when it does. I love getting him new ties for those times. The ties on Toybreaker are so unique and I want to get one for him.

A sneaky way to get my husband to wear a cute little bird.
From a distance this looks like a cool pattern but close up you realize it's part of an engine.

They also do really great sets for weddings. Here the grooms tie is white, the best man dark blue and the rest of the groomsmen lighter blue. Such a great idea.
