Must go

I found a new place I absolutely want to visit the next time I'm in New York. Located at 230 5th Avenue suite #510 SecondHand Rose carries the world's largest collection of antique wallpapers. I would love to see these papers in person. They also carry antique linoleum, furniture, glassware and pre-electric lights. Amazing. I could spend hours in this place.
Look at this wall of papers. Are you drooling just a bit? I know I am.

Great furniture.

Look at these linoleum patterns!

Fabulous lamps and mirrors.

I want to be in this store now! Honestly, I just want to be in NY right now...but any excuse will work!

Vintage

I found a great antique shop on etsy today called Old Crow Farm and they "rescue cool junk".

Look at this great metal cabinet. I would love to use it for a nightstand.

Not only an antique but this appeals to my need to organize as well.

Big mirrors are so good just about anywhere in a house. I love the idea of big mirrors on porches also.

Grown up

Someday when I'm a grown-up I want this to hold all my jewelry and make up. It's tall and I probably couldn't fill it but I think it's beautiful.

Metal and flowers

I really like the metal work by Megan Auman and she is from a town close to my hometown. Check it out.

Luxurious

I always love looking at furniture and redesigning my house in my head. More amazing Urban Outfitter items.

I want to curl up against this fabric headboard and read a good book.

They call it a fainting couch because it's so good looking you almost faint when you see it.

I am always looking for the perfect bench for the end of my bed. This one has the added bonus of being a storage space also.

Yummy fabric. Love it

Fairy Tale

Not sure if you have to be a fairytale Princess to own this bed but if you do I need to get my application in, because I want to sleep in this bed. I bet you only have good dreams in this bed.
By the way I DO NOT want the steer skull just the bed.

Furniture

When I think of furniture shopping I don't instantly think of etsy. But I have started to. I did a search and found some of the coolest, one of a kind pieces. Here are just a few of the amazing pieces.

Great Pepsi box shelves from Dear Odell
Great cabinet from Wink design
Cool Spider leg table from Solstice Home
Pretty Toile Chair from Paper Buttons
Check out the great fabric on these reupholstered chairs from Spruce Home
I wrote a few blogs the other day and saved them to post at a later date because I will be starting to work full time next week but now I realize that they will post out of order. So if it looks like their are no new posts try scrolling down and seeing if they posted out of order. I'll try to figure out how to post them in order.

Scandinavian

I found the beard hat at this great store called Scandinavian Grace. They have a wide range of really cool stuff. Here are a few of my favorites.

I want my next couch to have and extension on one end like this one. I love the clean lines of this one.

If I ever get a bicycle I dream of it having a basket on the front. This one would be my first choice and it comes in 3 colors. I love it.
This would be so cool over my bedside tables. I love that it is ruffly.

I love the colors of these towels. Towels are an instant makeover for a drab bathroom

Fairy Tale Furniture

Usually I like slightly more contemporary furniture. But I have always been drawn to outdoor decorations that look like these.

There is something almost fairytale like in these designs dne by Carlos Cortes Taller Studio. They are faux bois (concrete not wood) so I wonder how heavy they would be? Definelty look at all of the work done by this studio...it is amazing.

Short but sweet

I am so into color right now. I love that Pottery Barn is jumping on the band wagon. They usually stay in the neutral, navy, black and white land. But they have introduced hot pink and lime green to their collection. I bought a new duvet today. It's navy, but the pattern makes me crazy. I can't wait till it gets here.

This I have no place for in my house and yet I drool over it. If I repaint the living room, throw away my current furniture and completely redesign it would be perfect.

And since I'm in a dream world...when I win the lottery this is what will be on our new screened porch. I'll never have to come inside again. At least as long as the weather stays nice. You can all come lounge with me.
