Must go

I found a new place I absolutely want to visit the next time I'm in New York. Located at 230 5th Avenue suite #510 SecondHand Rose carries the world's largest collection of antique wallpapers. I would love to see these papers in person. They also carry antique linoleum, furniture, glassware and pre-electric lights. Amazing. I could spend hours in this place.

Look at this wall of papers. Are you drooling just a bit? I know I am.

Great furniture.

Look at these linoleum patterns!

Fabulous lamps and mirrors.

I want to be in this store now! Honestly, I just want to be in NY right now...but any excuse will work!

Retro Wallpaper

Still obesessed with the look of wallpaper. I found some great "retro" inspired options on Twenty2 and wanted to share them with you. This site also has some great fabrics and grasscloth wallpaper. That way you can buy your wallpaper and a complimentary fabric for your curtians instead of running all over town trying to find curtians that match.

This one almost looks like the lattice is real. I like this for a smaller area or an accent wall.
Love this for a modern kitchen or bath.

So subtle and pretty.

Free Postage

It's Summerbelle's first birthday and they are offering free postage on their shipping to anywhere in the world. Get in on this deal. They have some really cute things for kids room, but who says you need to be a kid to decorate with some of these adorable things.
They have some super cute pillows. I really like this one (it comes in red and pink too)
Pretty paper banners.
LOVE this tape. I could find so many things to do with it. And if you wanted to wrap a present without using wrapping paper you could just use this tape.

Adorable kissing birds wallpaper.
These family trees are pretty and easy to use.

Fabulous walls

I have found myself wanting to wallpaper my house lately. Not a whole room, just a wall or two. Romo Fabric has a few that would be perfect. I think you should put up some wallpaper too. I mean, just look at these patterns...how can you resisit?!

My craft room is already read so I think this would be look so pretty. Actually this one I might us for 3 walls of the room. I just love it.
Flocking. Amazing. Not sure where I would put it but I could find a place, I just know it.

This one has a bit of a shine to it. Maybe my upstairs hallway or part of the entryway.

I want this one in my dining room. I love the little birds.

Cute

I saw an ad for this company on one of the blogs I like and really liked there stuff so I wanted to share with all of you. It's called MiniModerns. They make cute pillows, wallpaper and dinnerware. Here is just a sample of their stuff.

Cute little piggy bank

This wallpaper is called colour-me because once the paper is hung and fully dried it is ment to be colored on. I think that would be such a cool thing for part of a play room. Keep the kids entertained and have funky wallpaper when you are done.

Such sweet pea pods.

I really like the idea of white dinner plates. I have been trying to decide on which ones I want. These are a nice option because although they are mainly white they have a bit of interst with the number.

Wall Stickers again

How I love wall stickers. The more I see the more I like. Here is another site of stickers. The site is called Stick Meon. The stickers are much smaller than some of the other sites and oh so cute.

More Wall Stickers

Harmonie Interieure is another site that has great wall stickers. This site is half in french, half in english. Don't worry they have a calculator to figure out how much it will cost since the listings are in euros. These stickers a little more grownup that the other sites I have found. I really like them. Even the "kids" section seem classy.

This one has french text and it looks like old style calligraphy. I think it is so pretty.

All of the stickers come in 4 or 5 colors.

I need this for out attic play room. It's not a playroom now but that is our hope that it will be someday and this would be so cool on the wall.

They also have great photos (like this one) and posters. Soon they will also carry a line of books.

More Wallpaper

My friend Hollis asked for some wallpaper ideas a while ago. I gave a few but I just found this one and had to share. What great patterns. It's called Flavor Paper. These papers are not for the faint of heart. You better want to make a statement. Maybe just one wall in a room or as a headboard for a bed. Or if you are brave a whole room. So cool.

I can imagine this in a small powder room. It would make the room feel larger and give visual interest.

For a little girls bedroom. Probably just one wall.

Funky retro kitchen. With red or blue appliances.

Formal dining room definelty.

No idea where I would put this but it is beautiful. Now if I could get get brave enough to use these.

Wallpaper

Recently someone asked me if I knew of any sites that sold cool wallpaper. All I could imagine was floral boarders and designs that didn't match up. But I searched anyway and found some really cool options. For now I will talk about 2 sites I found and if I find more then I will most definetly share them.

The first is called ferm Living. They not only carry cool wallpaper but also my new favorite thing...wall stickers! Little less permanent than wallpaper and then you can paint the wall any color you want. Check it out.

The second is Brewer's wallpaper. They have every kind of wallpaper imaginable, from the truly horrible to great stuff. Only problem is it's British so everything is in Pounds not dollars.

Now I mentioned I like wall stickers so I thought I would share some of the sites that have great stickers. Blik is probably my favorite place to look for wall stickers. You pick the color and the design and then lay them out on the wall however you want. They are removable too! They also will take your favorite poem, saying, verse, etc and make it into a wall decal. I want some for our attic. Take a look and see what great ideas hit you.

Sorry no pictures today my computer is being slow and frustrating.
