Pretty Paper

As we have learned, I just can't resist paper. Especially the letterpressed kind. If I had unlimited funds my house would be overflowing with paper and they would have to have an intervention to talk to me about my hoarding. Good thing I don't have unlimited funds.

I found Hello!Lucky recently and am drooling a bit.

I really like Egg Press greeting cards.

Their botanical collection is so pretty. I especially like the ferns.

Paper-y Goodness

Stumbling across beautiful stationary is so fun. If you saw my favorites list and counted the number of cool paper sites I have saved you might laugh. Apiary is one such site and one that I am excited to share. I can't post any of their photos so you have to check it out yourself. I really like the High Notes. Aren't they beautiful?
The second site I wanted to share is called Blonde Design I really enjoy the simplicity of their design.

In just a few short weeks I will need somethinglike this to announce the baby's arrival.

These are supposed to be thank you cards for a wedding but I like them as stationary for everyday. So pretty.

Stationary is so fun

I was cruising Etsy again (my newest favorite hobby) and found another great stationary site. Her name is Tarahogan and the store is called INK + WIT.

Rubber Stamps

Sometimes rubber stamps can be cheesy....but sometimes they can be super cool like these ones at The Mayberry Sparrow.

All you need is one of these stamp and some good quality paper and you can make your own stationary or invitations.

They also carry a few notecards or gift tags. I thought these were cute in their simplicity.

For a bridal shower these would look sweet as gift tags or incorporated into the invite somehow. (Like a save the date card)

In honor of the many birthdays I get to celebrate this month (J, C, B and my littlest brother) I thought I would post some stationary sites.

I really like Cotton Idea Studio. And look it's their birthday too this month and they are having a sale (25% off if you type in "makeawish" at the checkout!)

I like giving unique birthday cards. This one is so beautiful and looks like it would feel nice too.

I think this one is fun for an engagment card. I don't like the overly sentimental cards and like the added a bit of humor.

Perfect. Says everything you want to say to someone on their birthday.

They also sell notecards and as I still have a bit of a beach hangover these might just be the thing.

And look they are willing to feed my nootbook/journal addiction. Just what I need, more beautiful notebooks to keep around the house.

Stationery

There is something about paper in all it beautiful forms. I buy note cards, greeting cards, stationary, and craft paper. Then I feel bad putting my unattractive handwriting on it. I know I need to get over that. Besides everyone loves getting mail. I found Fabulous Stationery and wanted to share their site with all of you.

They also do this card and others as "couple" cards. I think that would be perfect for thank you notes for a wedding or shower.

I think everyone needs business cards (or calling cards) then we aren't always typing numbers into our cell phones and instead have a pretty little cards with all the right info on them.

I like Etsy and spend quite a bit of time looking for new, cute finds. Today I stumbled across Michelle Brusegaard's cute stuff She does a little bit of this and a little bit of that. Screen printing, stationary and photography.

One can never have too many personalized notecards. These come in a set of 10 and are flat ($16.50)

Beautiful, beautiful stationary. I think snail mail is so much more fun that e-mail. And more personal because you have to sit and write it. This beautiful set includes 2 kinds of paper, envelope and stickers. ($23.00)

This one just made me laugh. Growing up Peaches and Cream was my favorite Barbie, and I had some Barbie's. I thought this photo was fun and cute. ($15.00)

Stationary

I love stationary. I collect it in a way. I buy it with every intention of using it but then I like it so much I end up hoarding it. Silly I know. I have a friend in Alaska now so I should start writing letters with some of it. There is just something about a clean sheet of lovely stationary that I don't want to ruin but putting my sloppy handwriting on. Get over it, right?!

Verde Paperie is stationary I would love to collect. They have greeting cards, boxed notes, stationary, journals, calendars and gift wrap (we've already touched on my love of gift wrap).

These are blank inside and would be pretty framed.

My recipes are on scraps of paper and graph paper. I need about 100 of these to get more orgnaized.

One can never have to many journals! I have one for ideas, one for notes, one for quotes, one for actual journaling and few just cause I couldn't resist buying them.

I would almost feel bad ripping into this wrapping paper. Notice I said almost.

Did I mention they also do custom stationary? Genius.
