Rockabilly

So if this summer you are looking for a little more coverage in the bathing suit arena but still want to feel hot you might want to enter the world of Rockabilly swimwear. Rockabilly is mainly a kind of music but also a lifestyle for some people. The people who follow it dress like the 40's and 50's. Think Grease. I personally think it's beautiful and love the hairstyles. Here are two great sites for finding bathing suits. Pin Up Girl Clothing has some great options.

I love that this one has longer legs (almost shorts) but still is pretty great looking.
Also a cute option and a great pattern.

My Baby Jo has more one piece options than the other site. Here are my two favorites.
Look more cherries. Isn't this cute? And the neckline is a little higher if you want extra coverage
I actually got myself one a lot like this in purple. The roushing (is that how it's spelled?) does hid a multitude of things you would rather not show.

It's Summerbelle's first birthday and they are offering free postage on their shipping to anywhere in the world. Get in on this deal. They have some really cute things for kids room, but who says you need to be a kid to decorate with some of these adorable things.
They have some super cute pillows. I really like this one (it comes in red and pink too)
Pretty paper banners.
LOVE this tape. I could find so many things to do with it. And if you wanted to wrap a present without using wrapping paper you could just use this tape.

Adorable kissing birds wallpaper.
These family trees are pretty and easy to use.

Camping?

I am not a camper by any means. To me a Days Inn is camping. But my friend A.C. pointed out the new trend of Glamping. It is pretty much fancy camping and actually looks appealing to me. Want to give it a try? Here are a few places that have it. Go Glamping has a list of all the possible sites in the US that you can Glamp in(or is it Glamp at?!)
In California
In Texas
Or try this beauty at Clayoquot Wilderness Resort

I could definitely stay at the Resort at Paws up in Montana. I couldn't use any of their pictures but you HAVE to check out their "tent city". Fabulous.

If you want to invite me Glamping please feel free. I will be happy to join you.

Jealous

I know I will forget to post Monday so I'm going to do a little Saturday morning posting. I woke up at 6:30 today because that's when I get up during the week. No one told my brain I could have slept quite a bit longer. So I got up and decided to check out the Old Navy flip flop sale. Obviously, from the line, everyone had the same idea. When I saw more than one person in line with shopping carts I decided to skip it and instead went and did my grocery shopping, then ran to the bank and came home and paid bills...and it was only 9 AM. Yikes. I need a nap already. Good thing it's Saturday.

Now that I've bored you with my morning activities, on to the post. Why am I jealous you ask? I am in love with my friend CDB's cocktail ring. Have I mentioned it before? Well it is amazing. And I am planning a great heist to take if from her while she sleeps. CDB stop reading so you won't know it was me that took it. Anyway, I decided to look around and see what I could find that was similar (since we are already shoe twins I didn't think she would mind). And Etsy did not let me down. Here for you viewing pleasure are some of the one's I like.

From Coo Koo Ri Koo.

This amazing red rose ring from Fanciful Form

Black Dahlia ring from Treasure Box Jewelry

Last but not least this sweet little blue flower from Pretty Paris
Have a great Memorial Day weekend.

Fabulous walls

I have found myself wanting to wallpaper my house lately. Not a whole room, just a wall or two. Romo Fabric has a few that would be perfect. I think you should put up some wallpaper too. I mean, just look at these patterns...how can you resisit?!

My craft room is already read so I think this would be look so pretty. Actually this one I might us for 3 walls of the room. I just love it.
Flocking. Amazing. Not sure where I would put it but I could find a place, I just know it.

This one has a bit of a shine to it. Maybe my upstairs hallway or part of the entryway.

I want this one in my dining room. I love the little birds.

For Miss B

My friend, B, asked me to help her find a black dress for an evening wedding. Here are my solutions. B. is a petite girl so these dresses would all look lovely on her....on and I am not convinced that evening wedding means black dress so you may see some color in my selections.

This beautiful linen dress from J.Crew. It comes in black too so if you really want to stick to black you can.
This dress may be the perfect one! It's called Breakfast at Tiffany's and would look perfect! From MQuinn. If you get this one I have a string of pearls you can borrow

I like this dress from Target as well although I would have to see it in person to see if it was evening wedding appropriate.

Dream

I have many many dreams. Things I would like to be, or do, or have. I dream of pastries I will make, cakes I will decorate, parties I will plan and outfits I will wear. One of those dreams is to live in a big city and only ride a bike. I would still have a car but only use it to get out of town. Here is a great bike that would make life easier because of all the extra space. It's from Madsen and comes in the perfect shade of blue. I love it.

Cute little animal notecards with different sayings.

This color wheel print is so pretty. It would look great in a kids room.

Fun vintage style wrapping paper

Modern coloring pages. Just add to the picture.

I used to love graph paper journals. Haven't had one in a while. Maybe its time to get one again.

Weddings galore

With all these weddings I need outfits for each (although I did wear the same dress to the last two). But needing new dresses is never a bad thing. I really like some of the dresses by Sunday Brunch Dress. What do you think?

Ruffles and my favorite color....swoon.

This is too pretty. I would want to wear it all the time.

Simple, classic. You could get away with such wild colorful shoes with this beauty.

Happy Monday everyone

If Only

If I could make these necklaces I would. They are so pretty and I am a bit obsessed with buttons. Maybe I'll give it a try...is that wrong?!

Heading to another wedding this weekend. Should be beautiful. I really like the colors they picked. All our weddings for the whole "summer" are this month.

Wedding Bells

Last weekend I was honored to be invited to one of my oldest friends weddings in the Outer Banks. It was a perfect weekend and I got to help with the decorating and organizing. Love it.

Here are a few pictures of the beauty that is the ocean.
This is the view from the 3rd floor deck looking out at the ocean.
Here is our lovely house. It was huge and perfect for a wedding. It's twin house was right next door.

Site of the wedding. My friend J and I got to set it all up...my favorite thing to do!

Final results. It was lovely and the weather was perfect (an earlier storm has us all worried but it cleared up perfectly and was amazing).

I love you Greene's and if you want to renew those vows at any time just let me know when and were and I will be there.
